In the U.S., drowning is the second leading cause of unintentional injury deaths for children 1 to 14 years of age and kills more children ages 1 to 4 than anything else except for birth defects. On average, three children die each day from drowning.

To address this challenge in the U.S. and around the world, The World Health Organization has recommended that all countries create a Water Safety Plan which addresses the nation’s drowning problem.

And as nagi’s core commitment is to help reduce the number of aquatic accidents and deaths around the world, we are excited and proud to announce that nagi will be providing financial support to Water Safety USA, in their development of a U.S. National Water Safety Action Plan.

With organizations working together, it will be possible to transform water safety in the U.S. to help save lives, now and for generations to come.

The members who supports the Water Safety USA Safety Plan are:

American Academy of Pediatrics
