Orange County, California (September 30, 2019) – Tech in Motion has recognized Nagi as a finalist for 2019 Best Tech Startup as a part of the Annual Timmy Awards. The Timmys finalists in this category are chosen for their innovation, forward-thinking leadership and work environment. Two Best Tech Startup awards will be announced at a live ceremony this October.

“We are excited to recognize the top startups on the Timmy Awards finalist list this year. says Mandy Walker, Director of Marketing at Tech in Motion.

Nagi’s Swimsafe and Swimsmart solutions use Bluetooth and sensor products from Quuppa, Ai, and advanced analytics to reimagine what is possible in both aquatic safety for community pools, swim schools, water parks, etc. and for the overall swimming experience of all levels of swimmers.

“We are honored to be nominated in a peer group of so many innovative start-ups. Equally we believe that such nominations help spread the word about an aquatic solution (Nagi Swimsafe™) designed to help tackle the one of the top 5 global causes of death for people aged 1-14, accidental drowning.  In addition, the sister product (Nagi Swimsmart™) reinvents the overall swimming experience for amateur through competitive swimmers in a simple, easy to deploy, cost effective, and monetizable solution,” said Robert Auci, Nagi Board Member and VP US Sales & Marketing.

Quuppa’s Chief Marketing Officer Thomas Hasselman commented “We are very happy about this recognition of the Nagi solution. It is another great example of how our technology can enhance customer experience, analyse the performance and most importantly save lives in aquatic environments. Quuppa technology is already quite widely used in a variety of sports and we are excited to keep working together with Nagi and NBN23 to further develop the technology and the solution in the future.”
